The Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority commissioned J.M. Wilkerson Construction Co., Inc. to replace all Fare Barriers in every MARTA Train Station in Metropolitan Atlanta, GA.
The scope of this major renovation project included stainless steel fare barriers, access gates, emergency exits, granite flooring, the relocation of token and vending machines, public telephones and walker ducts. In order to complete this project JMW teams had to work in every MARTA station in the system as well as to maintain working operations throughout the entire project.
